🚨 🔊 CRITICAL SOUND TIP:

After you successfully enter CarPlay / Android Auto,

➡️ Your phone MUST connect to the IRIS system via Bluetooth.

Then, in IRIS audio sources, select BT.

🔴 If your phone is not connected to IRIS via Bluetooth, there will be NO SOUND!


❗ If there is still no sound, please try the following steps on the CarPlay unit:

  1. On the CarPlay system, go to the main Settings page (of the CarPlay module itself).
  2. Tap into System Information, then enter Factory Mode.
  3. Go to Phone Link Settings.
  4. Enable the option “Disable Phone Link Audio” by checking ☑️ the box (try both ON and OFF).
  5. Tap OK to confirm.
  6. Go back and select Restart System.

We’ve been continuously updating and optimizing our CarPlay modules, and some of the newer-generation models now use a different switch method. Please try long-pressing the “OK” button on that stalk to switch back to CarPlay. This replaces the old “Back” button method on certain models.
